Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, and password (stored securely by our platform provider). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
• Content you create: journal entries, prayer requests, community stories and comments, challenge progress, and any media you choose to add.
• Payment details: if you buy something, our payment provider processes your card and billing information. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage information: pages you visit, and general device and browser information, used to keep the app working and to improve it.
• Email subscriptions: your email address if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter.

How we use your information

• To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
• To show your content back to you and, where you choose to post publicly, to other members.
• To send the emails you ask for, such as a newsletter or a daily encouragement.
• To process payments for products or subscriptions you buy.
• To understand how the app is used so we can improve it.

What stays private, and what is shared

Your journal entries are private to your account. They are not shown to other members, and only you can see or delete them.

Prayer requests, community stories, and comments are shared inside the app with other signed-in members. You can post anonymously, in which case your displayed name is hidden (your account still owns the post so you can edit or remove it).

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the app work, and only as much as they need:

• Base44 — hosts the app, stores its data, and manages accounts and sign-in.
• Base44 Payments — processes payments securely.
• Flodesk — sends newsletter emails, if you subscribe.
• Apple and Google — distribute the mobile app and report crashes and basic usage to us.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Base44 Payments. Your card details are entered on the provider's secure checkout page and are never stored in this app. We keep a record of what you bought, the amount, and the order status, so we can deliver it and handle any questions or refunds.

Children's privacy

The Jesus Performance is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you are between 13 and 18, please use the app with a parent or guardian's permission. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Your choices

• You can edit or delete anything you post inside the app.
• You can unsubscribe from newsletter emails using the link at the bottom of any email.
• You can delete your account at any time from the menu in the app (Delete Account). This removes your account and the content tied to it.
• You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us.

How long we keep information

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, your account details and the content tied to it are deleted. Some records, such as payment records, may be kept longer where the law requires it.

How we protect information

Your account is protected by a password or a Google sign-in, and data is transmitted over an encrypted connection. No service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.

Changes to this policy

If we make a meaningful change to this policy, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
